I come from non-speaking English country. It is very expensive to give my children an opportunity taking part in international school where the pupils can learn English daily. That is one of the reasons why my children learn English every day at home.
I am happy whenever the children can speak English. They watch English videos or songs and then speak loudly.
The finest homeschooling hour is when my children accidently tell me a new sentence, phrase or even a new word discovered by themself. Two weeks ago, my 5-year-old son gave me his drawing with his first English writing. "I am a ship".
"How can you write this sentence?" I said.
"I saw some similar things in Time4learning," he said.
The drawing made me smile all day with the thought, "He could write English now."
