How do I add to the assignmets so the boys can just look and see what to do for the day?

The assignment feature that you see in Odessy Writer does not work with time4learning. This is only for when the program is used by schools. People handle assigments in many different ways. Since I am with my son all the time, I just tell him to do the next one when he finishes a lesson. Or I tell him to change to another subject. I have to sit with him to keep him focused. Otherwise he is all over the place and no school work gets done.

Some people list the assignments for the day on a white board and then erase them when they are finished. Others write out all the assigments in a notebook for the whole year. I can't work that way. If we get a chance to do something fun or go on a field trip, we're going to do that instead of what the schedule says. So if we had a schedule I would be constantly revising it.

Have them do whatever assignment star to which the arrow is pointing. Depending on the level you are using, they may need to complete more than one assignment star in a subject each day in order to finish in a 180 day calendar school year. For example, unless they are in K-2, they will need to do about two assignment stars for math to finish by the end of the year.

A lot of people have expressed interest in using this feature. Perhaps eventually that will happen but for now it isn't available for us. Sorry.
