Default If any one can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello, Long story short, My 14 year old son is coming to live with next week. He is coming from the state of Texas. He has been in public school there, but I want to finish this year out with homeschooling when he gets here. I have no Idea where to start, Could someone please put me in the right direction, his education is very important and I do not want him falling behind. Thanks in advance.

I think you need to send a letter of intent to the school superintendent and a copy of his vaccination record. There is a good coy of the law here. I would suggest that you sto by the Tennessee Parent Forum as they would have more information on how things work in Tennessee. There is also a great page on getting started with homeschooling for you to read.

I am going to delete your other ost since it is the same question. Good luck.
