I am in the process of making homemade Halloween costumes for my big boys who are almost 10 & 12 and the size of adults even though I am not a sewer...they want to be Pokemon characters, and this is quite a lengthy project, but I am doing it because I love them and they are growing up so quickly! I also helped a few customers at the grocery store today with some money saving tips!

My daughter has been asking to Universal Studios lately since we have passes but haven't been in a while. This morning my husband and I got up, had our daughter get ready, and surprised her with a fun-filled day of rides and shows! She has been doing so wonderfully with her schoolwork and is actually ahead of schedule, so we really thought she earned it. I love how excited she got.

Today I spent the day helping my son pick out his halloween costume and throughout the day we spent time playing to unwind from our busy week, and had special treats that he can't have on a normal basis.

I took my children to a safety fair and a bridge festival on my birthday. It was great to spend time with them and watch them laugh. The tried rock climbing for the first time and learned about safety.

I have a young single mother that lives by me. She was by herself today and was alone. I rented a movie had her over for a movie and dinner. I helped her take car of her 1 year old. I also took my daughter to eat where she wanted for lunch today.

Helped my daughters take care of a few boats for people that were out of town at the local boat harbor that were full of water after our heavy rains.
