Default New to homeschool in MD

Hi. I am about to jump into homeschooling mid-year for my 8th grader. Unfortunately although the semester has just started I have been unable to locate an umbrella that will accept us at this mid-year point. I find the idea of my first homeschooling experience starting mid-year under state review overwhelming. Any advice from experienced home schoolers would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

Hi, Leanne. We hosted a webinar awhile back about starting mid-year, and it's available on YouTube in recorded form. You might want to look at that. Beginning Homeschooling Mid-Year

There's also this free Welcome to Homeschooling guide.

And we're here . . . on the parent forum! Be sure and let us know if you have any questions, or just want to share parts of your journey with other parents.

    hi.

    I am thinking of homeschooling.

I was wondering where you get your resources from.
