Default Can I Home School Someone Else's Child?

A friend of mine wants me to Home School her daughter as well here. I already filed with DNPE for my daughter but am I allowed to Home School another child also? Do I need to let the state know if I am allowed to?

According to North Carolina law, you can provide homeschool instruction to one other family. I would assume your friend would need to provide the state her notice of intent and send in your high school diploma (or its equivalent) as proof you meet the requirements of an instructor.

That sounds like a tremendous task (as some days homeschooling my own children is daunting) so I applaud you for even considering it!

Okay, thanks so much for the information. It will be a lot of work but I am always willing to help someone else out. =) Thank you.
