Default Oregon T4L Users, introduce yourselves!

I know Kelly and myself are Oregonians but who else is out there?!

I recently learned from contacting LOTS of Oregon homeschool groups that several already use T4L. We would love to hear from you! If you have special things in your area, post away. If its a regularly scheduled homeschool event, let me know and I can put it under resource area for your group!!!

Don't be silent! We will not bite, I promise!!!

And would LOVE feedback on the Oregon resource area, events, etc. from people that work, live, teach and play there!

Hi.My name is Evy. I just registered my grandson Kaden with T4L. I am desperately looking for some help getting him caught up. I am his foster caregiver. He and his 2 younger brothers. He has had some really heavy hurdles in his young life and it has caused him to be 2 yrs. behind where he should be. I'm hoping T4L will help us. It certainly can't hurt.Laws prevent me from home schooling a "foster" child during the school year, but as Gramma and Guardian, I can do what ever I can during the summer months to help him catch up.As of today, we are on our mission. If anyone has any suggestions, please don't hesitate. He is 9 and I need to be able to enroll him in 3rd grade next year. That would put him only 1 yr. behind the children he went to kindergarten with.

Default New to T4L in Oregon

Hi there. I just started T4L today for my twin boys who just turned 4. Boy do they love it! Historically, when they find something new that they like (song, movie, game, etc.) they repeat it until they drop. This program has been no exception. Since I got them started this morning (around 11am) they have been blowing through the pre-k lessons. I practically has to wrestle the laptops from their hands to eat lunch and take a nap. I'm sure it will become less exciting as time goes on, but for now they can't get enough of it. I am very excited!
