    Two weeks ago our support group had the distinct honor of hosting Steve and Jane Lambert, authors and owners of "Five In A Row" curriculum, for a weekend encouragement conference. It was my job (and my honor) to entertain the Lamberts while they were here.

    Don't you just love the great outdoors? Winter, spring, summer or fall, the learning resources available in nature are abundant, if not endless! In general, homeschoolers love nature and being in it.

    Did you ever think that parenting would be so difficult? I feel every day is a different challenge. I've done many different things in my life, but parenting has definitely required the most of me. I love my children dearly, and know that all six of them are precious gifts. Truly, my very own blessings - I wouldn't trade them for anything. But that doesn't mean parenting them is easy. Nothing worth anything - is easy!

    When I take the time to evaluate my online activity (and believe me, that's no small task - - they don't call me Topsy-TECHIE for nuttin'!!) I'm kind of flabbergasted by how much of it involves homeschoolers and homeschooling. Between Facebook, forums, email groups, and blogs, probably 75% of my web surfing involves home education in one way or another.
