Wanting to home school my 15 year old son. He is Dyslexic and is ADD/ADHD. I have read numerous material online and even ordered books. From reading the numerous material online I have decided to do the "Unschooling Program" want him to work at his own pace and for him not to feel like he is still in public school. What I am wanting to know, is which program/company would be best to purchase? We live in Texas.
Please Help!!
Getting OVERWHELMED!!

Thanks,
Rita

Hi Rita! So sorry it's taken a while for someone to reply to you. This area is more of a blog area, rather than our regular homeschool parent forum.

Since you're here, I'm sure it will come as no surprise that I'm going to recommend Time4Learning. It's a great online homeschool curriculum that you can use in a multitude of ways. My boys (currently 6th and 11th grades) have used it since my oldest was in 2nd grade. There were many years that we followed an unschooling, or interest-led, approach in our homeschool and Time4Learning was the perfect way to make sure they were filling in any gaps.

One last thing...I wanted to recommend that you download this free ebook that is an excellent resource for new homeschoolers: Welcome to Homeschooling Guide. Also, if you look to the right of this, you'll see a map of the US. You can click on TX and be taken to a state specific board where you can try to connect with others near you.

    Good luck with everything!
