I don't do a whole lot of blogging, but I think I'll start one on here, just because we can now, and I think it would be a lot of fun to have a blog just dedicated to my homeschooled world. There are so many things that happen during a typical day ... it might be nice to keep track of them all in one place. Who knows? It might even help someone else along the way. If nothing else, it will give you guys something else to laugh at me about.

To be quite honest, on Sunday nights, I'm so tired I can't even think straight ... so I know I'm not going to be able to add anything useful tonight. But I would like to throw this out into the world of never-answered questions: Why is it that children take it upon themselves to be "helpful" whenever you want them to sit still and do nothing ... yet, when you need them to do something, its like asking them to hacksaw off their leg?!?! Today in church, I had intentionally left my case of clipboards out after church because I knew they had not all been collected yet. Jack, who had been told to sit down and wait for us to finish up with our annual meeting, closed it up and put it away. Yet, this afternoon, I asked him to please clean up his Lego's before Scouts and he grumbled and griped the entire time. Me? Have obedience issues with my 10yo??? Nah, not at all!! What on earth would make you think that??? -eyeroll-
