Hi I'm Tracy from Calhoun County in Alabama. I'm new to homeschooling and to Time4Learning. I can't wait to meet new people.

Re: New here!!
Hi, Tracy! Welcome! I'm the mom of 4 kiddos. My oldest started college this fall. She is a homeschool graduate. Then I have an 11th grader, 9th grader and 1st grader! We've been homeschooling forever.

Re: New here!!
Hi Robin!!
My daughter was in11th grade when I took her out of school. There were just too many problems there.
Did you have any problems with your daughter getting into college? My dd wants to go to college but I'm sure it won't be as easy as when my older daughter went. She graduated from high school.

Re: New here!!
Hi, Tracy. Welcome!
My four eldest kids have all attended college. We have homeschooled from the start. I've had no trouble with any of the four colleges they have attended accepting my kids' homeschool transcripts and diplomas. (They all started with the same college near here and then transferred to three others.) The colleges have been more interested in their entrance test scores than in how they learned what they know.

Re: New here!!
No trouble with college. They just wanted SAT/ACT scores (or placement testing) and a transcript that I put together. They didn't even need to see her diploma. It was easy as pie and she's doing awesome.
