    Default attendance

Hi, I'm wondering if you all can tell me what kind of attendance is required with homeschool and how it is documented/proven? Specifically in Maricopa county.

    Thank you!

Hi! I'm not in Arizona, but a quick check of their homeschool laws shows that the state does not require a specific number of days or hours. That means you, as the teacher/principal of your family's home school, can determine how many days there will be in your school year, and how long a school day will be. However, Arizona is unique in that it gives individual counties discretion to add requirements to the state's basic homeschool laws. Here is a page where you can find your county, to be sure the county itself does not dictate hours or days.
