    Default Encouragement for Moms!

    Trusting God
    Key scripture: Job 2:8-10
Then Job scraped his skin with a piece of broken pottery as he sat amoung the ashes. His wife said to him, "Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die." But Job replied, "You talk like a godless woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?" So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.

God's goodness is the preeminent expression of his glory.--Jerry Bridges

I'm sure you know of the story of Job. He was a upright man in the eyes of God. With God's permission, satan took everything from him...all his possessions were destroyed, all his children were taken, his health was taken, and then he had to deal with accusing people and a negative wife. Even though Job questioned God, he never cursed God. His faith was never lost.

How easy it is to find ourselves in a boat of the same likeness. We are going along our merry way and all of a sudden, a string of "bad" things happen. My friends, don't lose the faith! God doesn't make bad things happen! But, in the beginning, humans demanded to have knowledge and "freedom". God loves us so much that He allowed us our freedom. However, now, when we make wrong choices, we have to suffer the consequences of our wrong-doing. Sometimes, bad things happen when we have done nothing wrong. That's the hard one! Somewhere, evil crept in and it somehow stirred in our lives. God uses even the bad things in life to work miracles and save souls! He does! So, if you find yourself struggling with, know that God is at work even through the valleys in our lives. Keep the faith! Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and work through you for His glory and His good! Our faith in God will carry us through!

Dear God, please bless all eyes who read these words. As these sweet mothers homeschool their children to learn and love you, bless them through the difficult times as well as the good ones. Surround them with your love, give them strength and joy and peace in knowing that YOU are in complete control! In Jesus' name, Amen.

    It's Time4Learning. And Fun!

Amen! May God gives us all the strength and patience we need. Not only for homeschooling our kids but as well in our everyday doings. Have a blessed day!

Absolutely love this encouraging word! Thanks bunches for it. We have kindred spirits and one of my favorite scriptures is in your closing, "Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

By having a rock solid foundation in faith, we weather all difficulties, are grateful for blessings, and blessed when given challenges. Carry difficulties with a smile, they are just temporary. These are learning events.
