    Default What do you use?

My teens read the Bible on their own and my son is doing a Bible study with one of his friends on a weekly basis.
I read the Bible with my youngest, but was wondering what you all do?

Do you read the Bible with your children and have them do something else on their own? Or do you only read the Bible? Or do you use a devotional together?
What is your plan with your kids and their ages?

My husband read a part of Bible every day and after that my kids ask him a lot of questions. We want to hear what they think about it, also sometimes they takes colorful crayons and paint a scenes from Bible, it depends

Hi Janet! Bible reading for us is scheduled out in our main curriculum {Sonlight}, so we just follow that. Basically it is me reading a chapter each day aloud to the children, and then also reading a passage {or a short chapter} to themselves. I use a Life Application & Study Bible - which is a nice benefit for helping me to discuss with them. I prefer to not use a Bible "curriculum", myself, and just straight-up use the Word.

I use the Life Application Bible, too. I love it. NIV. It's great to have the extra notes which explain the verses and how to apply them.
