    Default Homeschooling Over The Summer

I thought I would do a poll to see how or if we homeschool over the summer. I know some people stop all formal schooling as soon as public schools dismiss for the summer. Others continue to homeschool over the summer but in a more laid back approach. Still others continue to hit the books every day year round. So, how do you homeschool over the summer and how does it affect your family life.

We actually find our schedule is a bit busier over the summer, my daughter takes extra dance classes not available during the 'school year' that are available via the parks and recreation department as well as special programs put together from the local dance schools. We also use that time to get out and go on field trips, learning on the road in places that might have been too awkward/difficult to get to during cooler/wetter months.
