I am looking for some extra curriculum to add to the t4l material. What Spanish program is popular and fun? Also do you think the science and social studies is really adequate for 8th grade material? Are there any ideas for a Science program besides Brain Pop?

    Hi Smalley57!

Every year I put Rosetta Stone on my curriculum wish list but have yet to actually purchase it. I would love to hear what others use for Spanish. We have kind of pieced together different things for elementary level spanish.

I do add more science and social studies in my homeschool. We combine grades and everyone does the same thing. This year we are doing US Geography and Physics, with materials from Bright Ideas Press and Geography Matters. We also do alot of experiments, projects and trips for these subjects since they really lend themselves well to online learning.

We just purchased Noeoscience for my DD11. My DS5 will follow along with her and draw pictures about what we read and such. I needed something more visual and hands on for them. We are begining it this week. I like how its laid out.

I wish I could find a Spanish program too that wasn't SO expensive.

In another thread several people liked "La Clase Divertida Elementary Spanish K/6". It looks like a good program.....I found one on ebay that sold for $14.50 + $4 shipping....unfortunately, I didn't have $20 at the time so I missed out. They have a website: https://funclase.com/welcome.html
It looks like a fun program with a craft pack included. I'm keeping an eye out on ebay for another one.........deni.........

Thanks for the suggestion Deni! I have never heard of that one.
