    Default Activity Scheduler

We're new to this site and I am trying to figure out how to cancel or delete an assignment that I added using the activity scheduler without having to redo the entire schedule? I use the lower portion so that I can schedule assignments from week to week since we're not following a traditional school calender and more of a year round one. I just go in and schedule from week to week what I want her to do. I added an assignment for this week, but we decided not to do it yet and I need to know how to delete it from her activity schedule. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Here's the whole scoop on the Activity Scheduler. About 3/4 down, you will learn how to delete and edit schedules.

I'm having trouble with this too. I want to set things up, not to evenly divide up the work among all the weeks between now and June, but to plan on skipping certain weeks. I don't want to plan ANY schoolwork for the Jewish holidays, or for Thanksgiving Week (which is also the week before his Bar Mitzvah. I wouldn't plan on any secular schoolwork that week even if it wasn't Thanksgiving!)

If there's no way to schedule in the weeks *I* want, then I'm probably better off doing this manually rather than trying to have the computer schedule this for me.

Also, why are all the parent instructions in video form? Just because my son is an audio/visual learner doesn't mean that I am! I need to read the information, quietly, or it won't sink in. There should be a text version of the parental instructions.

I will pass on that you would like to see the parent information in text form. As for the scheduler, for some families it is just what they need. For others, it really doesn't work for they way they do school. Personally, I never use the scheduler because it just doesn't schedule the way we work. I hope that you find what works for your family!

I was able to view the videos with captions on and speakers off, and got the information available. It simply seems that, at this time, the scheduler doesn't do what my family needs. Which is fine- I simply won't use the feature.
