Default Recommended supplies? Elementary - High School

With most of the schoolwork online, is there a recommended supplies list for each grade? For example, will they need notebooks etc. to work out problems or take notes? Are there other supplies needed?

I will have a child taking 3rd, 6th, 8th, and high school courses through Time4Learning.

    Hi! Welcome to the forum!

Very little else is needed. You will want a reliable printer and paper, because there are optional printable worksheets to go along with many of the lessons. Lined paper, pencils, and pens should be on hand. Once in awhile, one of the younger kids might need scissors and a glue stick for some of the worksheets you decide to use.

Your sixth and eighth graders will probably be doing one of the middle school science courses. Middle school science and the high school science courses do not require supplies, as anything that might be considered a "lab" is just demonstrated by the videotaped instructor. There is a supplies list for third grade science in your parent dashboard. Just log in to your dashboard, click on Resources, and look in the left sidebar for science supplies lists.

The science supplies lists that are labeled sixth and eighth grade are for the "old" sixth and eighth grade science lessons, before we had middle school science. Your third grader will still use the old lessons, so the third grade list will apply to her. Third graders also have access to Science4Us. You can log in to your parent account to add Science4Us to your third grader's subjects.

Thank you, what about high school supplies? I'm looking at the scope & sequence for my 10th grader but I'm not sure if he needs extra stuff for the science courses or anything else?

    Thank you!
