    Question Highschool grading

I have been T4L this entire school year with my highschool junior, and I'm wondering how everyone else computes the grades. Do you consider "activity quizzes" as classwork or on par with the "lesson quizzes" and "tests". Looking for input.

I'm going to move your question over to the High School forum. You posted your question in the Illinois State Forum and haven't gotten a reply to your question. I think (and hope) you'll get a response once I move it.

In my opinion, homeschool grading is just as unique as is homeschooling; everyone does it differently. You can use just tests as your grades, or you can use a mix of tests, activity quizzes, worksheets, writing assignments...

I decided to give 45% weight to Chapter Tests, 35% weight to Lesson Quizzes, and 20% weight to Activity Quizzes.
