    Question Testing?

Iím new, in TN and my daughter is a sophomore.
I know the T4L courses give tests but what about end of course testing? Is that needed and if so what do you use?

If a student does well on the chapter tests, it can be assumed they learned the course material. There is no need for an end-of-course test. You can give a few of the chapter tests again, if that would make you feel better. Do guard against insisting your child memorize material just long enough to "pass" a test that they will likely forget in a few days or weeks. (Take a few of the chapter tests yourself before you decide a person HAS to know all of that information to be successful. )

Tennessee only requires that a homeschooled student receive a standardized test at the end of grades 5, 7, and 9. Other than that, you do what you feel is best.
