Re: Best piece of advice for new homeschoolers!
Relax! I know that sounds silly...but when I first started I was so worried and overwhelmed. I felt like I needed to duplicate school at home. I was stressing with keeping a schedule and doing worksheets and it all rubbed off on my kid. I suggest just taking some time off to spend with one another. Learn your child's learning style and their interests. There's no rush and we found no matter if we had textbooks open or not, we were always learning! (Yes, we....lol)

I'd make sure my kids do not feel isolated, especially if they are extroverts)
Then, I'd also suggest to book several days a month just for yourself. It's not about being selfish, it's about taking care of yourself to be able to take care of your kids)
