    Default Homeschool question about highschool

    Hi Everyone,
We live in Texas, and I have been looking for a curriculum for teaching my son next year, who will be in 9th grade. I was wondering if it would be ok to teach on the SAT? I know they sell books and thought well that is what he would need to get into college. Has anyone heard of doing this? We will miss T4Learning

    Thank you for your help.

I've not heard of anyone doing this. But I don't see why it wouldn't work. Then you could fill in with the things he is interested in. You might want to try Highschool Homeschool | LetsHomeschoolHighschool.com for some ideas.

Sure, that may get him into college, but will he be prepared for the work if he gets there? Also, it may not get him into college. You need to look at the courses that the college of interest wants to see on the transcript and if there are any additional requirements for homeschoolers. Rather than just preparing him for college testing, also take into consideration college entrance requirements and what he needs to learn to do well in college.
