    Default reading help

Just started homeschooling preteen daughter this year. I though she was doing great- but she came to me crying today that she really doesn't understand anything and she has to review things several times before "getting it". I knew she was having difficulty and hard to work much harder than her peers in the classroom, but thought the one on one time was going great. I asked her to read a simple book out loud to me and found that her fluency was not wear it should be. I think we need to get her tested- any suggestions how to go about this and what to ask for?

Hi, there! Maybe you can try an online reading fluency test?
    Here are a couple I found: https://www.readinga-z.com/guided/fl...-Reading-33869

Thanks so much! Will check it out. I also have a call in to a friend who recently had h child tested to find out who I should call to help me get this checked out. I am pretty sure se does not need a full psychoeducational evaluation, but not sure hat to ask for- maybe a call in to the pediatrician for ideas as well.
