For those who may not have anything planned, here are a few things I found going on around the state...
Need something for your kids to do all summer that gets them out of the house...how about bowling!
Go to www.kidsbowlfree.com and sign up for 2 FREE games of bowling for your kids ALL summer Long!
Skyway lanes also offers a "shoe pass" for the summer at a reasonable rate that will save you money instead of paying for the shoes each time.
I am not sure if Crown Lanes does it but you can contact them at 682-6444
I have been doing this for 2 years now and it is wonderful. They also offer a special for up to 4 adults to also bowl 2 games a day for a low price of $24.95. Well worth it if you want to bowl also.
Kids have to be 15 and under but if you sign up for the family pass you can add older kids to it.
Enjoy some fun at the bowling alley this summer!

By the way... here is the site that I found these things on. It's a great resource for things going on around you. You can just pick your state, then pick your city/area! Most of the states seem to have weekly posts, if not more often, about things that are happening.

We have season passes to the KC Zoo and Union Station, so we will be doing those quite a bit. The kids really enjoy Science City at Union Station. We have also been learning how to paint and fix a house since the city codes guy has been causing some trouble, kids really go into the painting. Also plan on going to Warsaw, MO they have an amazing observitory that hangs over the cliff, lots on the dam and electricity and also tell about the fossils they found there. The fish hatchery is always a hit with the kids as well.
