Default Forgot to send letter of intent

    Hello,

This is our second year of homeschooling. I realized - just the other day - that I completely forgot to send my letter of intent for the current school year.

I seriously doubt the school system is keeping track of things in a proactive way. I haven't heard anything from anyone as of yet. At this point, seeing as how the school year is over halfway done, I thought I would just send one next year and not worry about it.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps personal experience?

This is totally my opinion and not a legal decision. If it were me, I would let it slide. If questioned about it, plead innocent. "Oh man, I totally forgot to send that, I'll get it out to you tomorrow."

We have to go to the school board in Jefferson County and sign a paper that's it. There isn't a letter of intent. I just have to put the kids names and ages and sign that's it.

    That sounds easy enough.
