Summer is a great time to get out and explore Kentucky. With the economy the way it is, many of us are choosing to stay close to home rather than taking expensive vacations. I found this awesome website that lists field trip all around the state. We can't wait to visit some of these places! If you visit any of them, I'd love to hear what you think.

We will be in Lexington the last week of August. We're thinking of hitting Mammoth Cave on the way home. I noticed that there is a place called Dinosaur World nearby but it wasn't listed on the link for Field Trips Around Kentucky (wasn't sure whether that was a bad sign or not ). Have you been there or heard anything (good or bad) about it?

    thanks,

    Nancy

    What do you teach there?

Nancy...I have heard of it, but have not been there myself. Here's a link to their website. It looks really cool!

I promised my son a trip down to the Corvette Museum soon, I'm thinking we may need to stop here as well. Let me know what you think about it if you end up going!
