Default Time 4 Learning 2 semester curriculum

How do I figure out a 7th grade curriculum for only 2 semesters? I'm doing it week by week but it is taking a long time.

    Hi!

Each high school level subject is designed to last for a traditional school year, but you can do it however you wish.

Have you logged in to your parent account and tried using the Activity Planner? You will want to eliminate half the activities from each course, since you are starting late.

Here are some suggestions. Use the ones you are comfortable using . . . probably not all of them. They're just ideas:

Deselect all of the writing assignments and only require writing in the English courses.
Deselect all of the Independent Practice selections.
Study only a few chapters, such as a certain time period in American history.
Combine lessons to make your own course. For example, I once had a daughter do all of the Shakespeare lessons in English I, English II, English III, and English IV for a study of Shakespeare.

Hopefully, this helps you get started!

We hosted a webinar awhile back about beginning to homeschool mid-year. It's available in recorded form on YouTube: Beginning Homeschool Mid-Year

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!
