This still amazes me. One of the biggest reasons I decided to homeschool was because I wanted to be highly involved and hands-on with my children's education. I started using Time4Learning reluctantly, during a time in my life when I really needed a little help getting everything done. I intended for it to be a temporary break because I had "too much to do". I fully intended to go back to textbooks as soon as I had "rested up".

Instead, here we are, 12 years later, with enough spare time to even help out on the forum and do a little writing! I wrote Up to my Ears in Curriculum to marvel about how using an online program ended up giving me more time with my kids . . . not less.

I'd be interested in anyone else's experience with various curriculum types and how they have affected your goals for your own family.
