    Default dialup

Part of the time we are doing T4L at my shop (I'm a working homeschooling mom) which as dsl and T4L works great there. But sometimes we are home and using dialup (we can't get dsl at home). The videos take forever to load which I understand with dialup and then they only play a little, then wait again for long periods. Are there settings we might try that could make this less of a problem???

Dialup usually only affects the loading time. Sometimes people do get "lag" with dialup connections. I was going to post a few ideas I found online, but I can't vouch for any of them. Search "reduce dialup lag" and you'll find a lot of tips that might be worth trying.

If anyone else has had this problem and solved it, please share.

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!

oh thanks for those tips Kelly. We have dial up too and I noticed that some things load slow. We can't get dsl either, we were the last around to get caller id so we may never get dsl...lol
    thanks
