I wanted to know if I can move around to different topics in the lesson plan if I choose to or do I have to follow each completed lesson as layed out in the program.

You can do lesson activities in any order, skip activities, repeat activities, work at different grade levels for different subjects, and skip between grade levels.

The flashing arrow is designed for members who do the lessons sequentially. If you create your own plan, your student won't be able to rely on the arrow to find what he's to do next. Many parents write their lesson plans on paper and have their student access the activities via the Activity Finder.
