Default How do we check our child's progress?

I have been looking all over through this stuff and I can't find the place where we can look to see how our child is doing on the tests she is taking. Is there a place we can go to on this site to find this or how do we get them?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi!

Log in as your child and click on the little backpack icon. You find find out more about reports by clicking here.

Reading all of the Hints is a great way to get started.

Nice to have you with us!

    Hi Timeforlearning folks.

We started with time for learning because our daughter’s 9 (second grade) and 6 (first grade) were falling behind in reading in school. It seemed no matter how much more time after school we spent reading with them they were not improving. We live in a small rural coastal area and there are not a lot of options for other schools or even tutoring.

Our older daughter who is 16 is on Oregon Connections Academy and we thought about having our younger kids do that also but it would be a huge commitment on our part as we would have to do all their work along side of them where as our older daughter is pretty much self pacing.

Each of our girls has done 52 lessons and we have been getting good reports from school related to improved work effort on reading and other subjects. Our girls seem to love it... sometimes they don't want to get started but then after they are on the computer they do not want to stop.

I’m still struggling with how to read the reports and what they really mean so if anyone has any pointers on that it would be appreciated.

Looking forward to learning from all of you!

    Mary

    Another Oregonian! Hi, Mary.

The Reports info in the Hints (link above) is a good place to start. Can you be more specific about what part you don't understand?

    Nice to "meet" you.
