    Default Odyssey Writer

My daughter completed her first assignment using the writer today. If I read another post correctly, I believe I am to grade these myself. I went in to pull up her assignment and when I did, I got a "split" screen. The top portion could be edited. I edited her work but then when I went to "grade" it with the rubric....I was unable to click in any of the boxes.

What am I doing wrong? What is the correct way to access these assignments in order to grade them?

    Thanks,
    Michelle

These assignments must be printed and graded manually. The rubric is a good guide to use when doing this.

Odyssey Writer was designed to be used within a classroom environment, and the grading function will not work for individuals.

You can print the assignment from the student's portfolio, as long as he/she has clicked on the Hand In button and chosen a fictitious teacher from the list. That marks the assignment as Complete, and allows it to appear in the portfolio.

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!
