Question Question about what counts as a lesson

I did the planner that tells me how many activities per subject per day my kids are supposed to do. My question is...what counts as a lesson or activity? Are they supposed to do everything up to the test? Example...for 5th grade Language Arts the first lesson is Synonyms: Interactive guided instruction. Then moves on to Synonym Quiz 1, followed by Synonyms: Let me practice and finally Quiz 2. If they were doing 1 lesson would it be all of that? Or just the first part?

I hope that makes sense lol.

The calculator helps you decide how many lesson activities should be done each week. In your example, "Synonyms: Guided Instruction" is one lesson activity.

We parents tend to think of a "lesson" as "the amount of work to be done in one day on this subject". Time4Learning lessons are further divided into lesson activities, so one T4L lesson may take several days to finish.

    I hope that helps.

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!
