    Default Skipping Lessons

My kindergartener is finding some of the kindergarten lessons too easy and I wanted to see if anyone else skips ahead or just goes straight to the quizes and tests? I was thinking about going straight to the quizes and tests just to see where he's at. He's more advanced in some areas and not so advanced in others.

What does everyone else do in these circumstances?

Most kids that age need repetition and lots of kids that age haven't been introduced to any formal learning, so you might find some lessons too easy. It is fine to skip ahead to the quizzes and tests to get a better idea of where he's at. If he does great, move ahead. If he doesn't do as good as you had hoped, go back and complete the lessons. That is the beauty of homeschooling and being in control of your child's education.

    Keep us informed.

I think you should put him on first grade for what ever is to easy. I had to do that to my kindergartener.
