This year, Douglas County Fair, is bringing an incredible "start your own business program" to your kids! This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is presented by the Innovative Kids of America Project and is completely free of charge!

Now seeking highly motivated kids ages 5-19 for one of the greatest opportunities ever offered! This is the chance for kids to learn while participating in a real life experience of having a business of their own. The Innovative Kids of America Project is partnering with the Douglas County Fair, to provide a space for your kids to create a product or service to sell, or buy wholesale products to sell retail. Some of the most popular young kid entrepreneurs even offer "make and take" projects!

From Sept. 25 - 28, 2014, The Douglas County Fair will provide every participating child an 8-foot table free of charge to run their business! Please understand that these are very high value spaces usually bringing the fair revenue, but non-the-less the Douglas County Fair wants children to retain all proceeds from their businesses! Dianne Linderman, founder of Innovative Kids of America, will provide her award-winning business plan workbook titled, “How to Become an Entrepreneurial Kid”. This book teaches kids everything they need to know to start and run their own little business. Dianne and her team will offer phone consultations and will help kids formulate their ideas and dreams into reality. They will teach kids how to come up with a business name and plan, and help the kids get started, and will be there to guide kids and parents for the run of the show. Kids under 13 will need parents to lend support to their kids. We have found that parents love this as much as the kids! This rare and necessary experience is truly an opportunity most kids would never have. Join us! It’s not too late to save a spot for your kids to learn the Art of Entrepreneurship, and learn real economics from a real life situation. If your child has ideas and dreams, and would love to have this opportunity, please watch our video from the Sacramento County Fair last year Innovative Kids of America in action!! - YouTube and check out our website
