Default First year homeschooler to 6th grader

This is my first year homeschooling and was wondering how much time you spend a day on each subject and do you work on different subjects on different days? I know everyone has different curriculums but I just wanted to get some examples. Thank you very much ! Jolie Palmieri

Hi, Jolie! I just want to welcome you to the forum!

My own sixth graders have worked on Time4Learning for three to four hours per day. You are correct that it varies for each student, but you might be interested in this article called How Long is a Homeschool Day?

Glad to have you with us!

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!

With my kid, each day is different, each subject is different and each child is different. My high schoolers tend to spend more time taking notes and watching the videos. I'd say about 30mins to an hour per subject. Younger kids spend less time. Maybe 2-4 hours.
