    Default High School Homeschooling

My son did not have a good experience his freshman year of high school. He wants to be homeschooled for the rest of high school. He feels he learns better on his own or in a one to one setting. I am looking for suggestions on what programs are best, as well as a social/support group in Union County. Thanks!

Hi. I'm not in your area, so I can't suggest a local support group. I can point you to a great site, though: Let's Homeschool High School.

Be sure you understand the difference between homeschooling (where the parent directs the student's education, is responsible for following their state's homeschool laws, and creates/maintains/signs all records including transcripts and diplomas) and enrolling in an online school (which many people mistakenly refer to as "homeschooling"). Time4Learning is homeschooling; it is not an online school.

Good luck to you as you locate a great option for you son!

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!
