    Default Thanksgiving

Wow, it's November already. Sure doesn't seem that it should be that late in the year. The Holidays are upon us already. Is anyone doing anything related to Thanksgiving in their homeschooling?

I bought the November Book Bag from CurrClick. Here's a link to it:

    http://www.currclick.com/product_info.p ... e_id=12443

    Topics include:

    History of Thanksgiving
    Thanksgiving Activities
“How to Make a Turkey” Paper
    First Thanksgiving: Five W’s
    Thanksgiving Paintings
    Mapping the Pilgrim’s Journey
    Making a Turkey
    Create a Cornucopia
    Thanksgiving Vocabulary Card
    Cornucopia Alphabet
    Ten Little Pilgrims
    November Acrostics
    Calendar Pieces: Pilgrim Hats

I can't wait to start using them as a supplement to our lessons. So what things are you doing to include Thanksgiving in your studies.

We love CurrClick. You have to go through each book to weed out things you're not interested in. But there is still a lot of good material, especially for the price. They were on sale when I bought October, November and December. You can also buy the whole year at once. And there is lots and lots of other stuff on their website.

We're going on vacation on Sunday. There were several pages in the November book on flight and aviation. I printed those pages to take with us on the plane. I thought it would be fun to learn about planes while we are flying.
