    Default Hello Everyone!

First time homeschool mom from Texas here!

I have a 12 year old son that suffers from schizophrenia and public school just wasn't cutting it. After looking at all of the online options, this seemed to be the best fit.

I'm a huge fan of forums and I'm sure I'll be on here daily. I'll let you all know when I hit my first "OMG I don't know what I'm doing" wall.

Welcome to the Forums Bellacissa. I'm sure you'll do just fine. Did you know there is a forum for the state of Texas? There is also a forum for Special Needs Kids. You might find both of them worth looking at.

Hi, Bellacissa. Welcome to T4L and to homeschooling. We've been using T4L for almost 5 years now. I came across T4L when I started a part-time job and needed something to hold us accountable to the main subjects. It really has been a god-send. Our daughter loves the animated and interactive lessons. I'm loving not having to prepare lessons and the ease of having a progress report for our records. She has shown a lot of progress! Oh, I didn't mention that our daughter has Down syndrome. So I may be seeing you over at the special needs forum.

I wanted to share this link for helps and hints for new users to Time4Learning. And as a new homeschooler, you may find this Homeschooling Guide helpful.

Enjoy your homeschooling journey and feel free to ask questions any time.
