Hi -

I am an accidental homeschooler. My son started 9th grade this year even though my gut argued that he was not ready for high school. He failed three of his core classes in the first semester and in the meantime, we had a bit of a family crisis which prompted us to move halfway across the country temporarily. After looking into all of the options, I believe homeschooling gives us a better shot at getting caught up and ready for 10th grade - hopefully back in his old school. Of course, that is a bit of motivation for him, too.

He failed his first semester of English, Biology, and Algebra. So, I am just starting at the beginning. I can't tell if the T4L high school courses are meant to be the equivalent of a semester or a full year of credit. I'm brand new but from what I have seen so far, it looks like a full year.
