Something Good in the World at Hilltop Hanover Farm: Sounds Good - Music
for Families workshops for all ages. These events take place one Saturday a
month at Hilltop Hanover Farm, and we invite professionals and volunteers to
come and share their love of music, storytelling and dance, each time
celebrating a different culture. There is a $5 suggested donation per person for
each workshop. This month: “A Chinese New Year Celebration.� In honor of
the Lunar New Year (Year of the Tiger), we will present traditional
stories, music, dance, and food from China, led by Chinese language and culture
specialist Shudan Yeh, who teaches Chinese at Earth School for homeschoolers,
as well as at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry. If any of you know any
Chinese songs, stories or dances, or have traditional costumes or treats
associated with the Lunar New Year, please bring them along. We will be making
dumplings as part of the festivities! Refreshments are donated by Deborah
