    Default Homeschool Registration Is Open

I am happy to announce that registration is officially open for The Farm & Forest Homeschool Program, offering groundbreaking full season farm to table and wilderness programming in a supportive Jewish environment for ages 4 through 14. You don't want to miss the Early Bird Discount that's being extended to March 15!
Located at Eden Village Camp's 248 acres, just an hour north of New York City, the Farm & Forest Program empowers students to cultivate genuine lifelong connections to their food and to nature through innovative gardening, cooking, art, music, and wilderness awareness experiences, all incorporating the natural rhythms and cultural wisdom of the Jewish tradition.
Whether planting trees, baking bread in an earth oven, sharing classic Jewish tales and Midrashim around the fire, or packing Tzedakah boxes of homegrown produce for donation to a local food bank, students put ancient agricultural traditions into practice while participating in vibrant earth based community. We learn about soil, seeds, compost, insects, herbs, and orchards, in our fields, our kitchen, and in our tradition, through hands on growing and cooking projects. Our goats, bees, and chickens provide for our needs while teaching us about animal care and ethics. In the woods, we practice our navigation and safety skills, while learning to build primitive shelters, track animals, identify wild edibles, and make fire through friction. Art projects include printmaking, plant sketching, making costumes and paper mache shofars, and tons more!
The Spring Farm & Forest Homeschool Program Dates:Tuesdays from 12:30-4:30pm: April 24, May 1, May 8, May 15, May 22 and June 5 with a special Family Overnight stay Wednesday, May 30-Friday, June 1.
Memberships are the best value, and allow our programs to build core skills over time. We offer day sessions for a new reduced rate of $40 per program, and a generous finder's fee for new families that you refer to us who sign up for a membership.
The Farm & Forest Homeschool Program inspires students to become thoughtful and engaged parts of their environment and their worlds as they develop core skills of nature connection and community building while connecting to the ecological wisdom inherent in Judaism. Warm regards,
