Question Another Question About EOG Testing

    Hello all,
I read on the DNPE website that EOG testing is usually done between March 1 and April 15. Does it have to be? I was planning on the second or third week of May ( My granddaughter won't be finished with the lessons til then). This is my first year of homeschooling and my first testing experience. I will appreciate any advice you can give me about this end of grade testing business. Thank's very much.

You don't have to test during that time frame. DNPE probably suggests that time period because that's when public schools are doing their testing. DNPE states you need to administer the first test within 12 months of receipt of your Notice of Intent and then subsequently each year. I would suggest you choose to test around the same time each year, but it doesn't *have* to be when DNPE suggests or each year on the same day.
