Default New to Home school in North Carolina / Relocating from Texas

Hello Everyone! Me and my family will be moving from Texas to the Greenville, NC area in May. I started home schooling my two children last year here in Texas and have decided to continue doing it. Each state is SO different - as far as the requirements for home school! I'd love to connect with others in the Greenville area for field trips, outings, and even switching days for home school (2 days a week--your home and vice versa with your child/children in my home). I see the requirements allow for up to 2 households for a child's home school education. Any suggestions or input would be great!
