    Default grandparent in ohio

Hi can someone please give me some info on grandparents home schooling a grandchild if they are not the custodial parent? I can't seem to get a clear cut answer on any sites I have been on. From what I have seen it loos like if the parent gives you POA then you can teach them...any info would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi, I'm in Ohio and as far as I know, anyone can teach another child in Ohio, as long as they have the parents okay and meet any educational requirements (high school diploma). I have taught the children of friends and the only thing they had to do was fill out the NOI and include my name as the person that was doing the teaching.

Here is detailed notification about notifying. Ohio Homeschool Notification Procedures | PEACH

    Hope that helps!
