Does anyone have a hyperlexic child? How is he doing with T4L? Do you find that it's a good fit?

    Melissa,

I don't know of anyone who has worked through this. I even had to google "hyperlexia". If you research and find out information would you post it here? Have you ever looked at Dianne Craft's materials? http://www.diannecraft.org She is all the rage in homeschool circles when it comes to working with LD's of all different types.

There is some information about hyperlexia at www.hyperlexia.org . I am particularly interested in teaching comprehension as I suspect that's going to be a big issue for him. I am curious to find out if anyone with hyperlexic children have relatives with other LDs. My little brother has dyslexia, so I was wondering if the miswiring has a genetic component. But I'm dorky like that.

I have never heard of the lady you suggested. She looks awesome!
