Default Read along option in LA

My son is dyslexic and has tremendous difficulty reading material at his grade level. He is in 5th grade. The program gives an otion for the material to be read to him, but it will not highlight as it reads. I think it would be much more helpful if the program continued this option in middle school. I can watch my son and he doesn't even look at the screen. Once he has lost his place, he can not find it again and there is no point in him staring at the words if he can't follow along. Is there any way to do this?

There may be programs available from sources other than T4L that will do what you describe. Here's something I found from a quick search. I have not tested it and do not know if it is compatible with Time4Learning's lessons.

You might perform a search, using terms that are specific to your son's particular needs.

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!
