    Default Special Needs Curriculum

    Hi, all!

Just curious on how to start a special needs curriculum under Time 4 Learning. I have already signed up my 9yr old low functioning ASD son (developmentally 2 and non-verbal).

Am I supposed to start at the pre-k level or is there a specific area on the sight I'm to use?

Hi, tdware82 - since Time4Learning is a homeschool curriculum and not an online school, you have the freedom to do what works for your son. If you want to start him at the lowest level and let him build his confidence as he moves through the curriculum, you can do that. If you find that the level is too low you can adjust it at any time.

I also have a child on the spectrum. I agree with the previous responder. You want this to be a great experience, so starting out at a lower level will set your child up for success. Our kids can easily become frustrated, and new things tend to throw them off, so I would start wherever you feel that he would be most successful.

We have been doing T4L since February, and it has been a blessing!
