We’re sorry you’re having trouble accessing and completing some of our lessons. After you have tried the suggestion below, please test the activities and let us know the outcome. Remember, you must add the domains below, including the asterisk, to both your Internet browser and the security software on the computer you are using.
If using Internet Explorer, from your browser window select “Tools”.
• Select “Internet Options”.
• From your tab settings select “Security”.
• Click on “Trusted Sites” and then click the sites button.
• Please add the domains below:
*.llnw.net
*.llnw.com
*.llnwd.net
*.thelearningodyssey.com
*.compasslearningodyssey.com
*.childu.com
We also suggest adding them to your allowed sites list.
• Click on Tools.
• Select “Internet Options”.
• Click on the Privacy tab.
• Click on Sites and add the following:
*.llnw.net
*.llnw.com
*.llnwd.net
*.thelearningodyssey.com
*.compasslearningodyssey.com
*.childu.com
If using Firefox, from your browser window select “Tools”.
• Under Options select “Privacy”.
• Under cookies select “Exceptions”.
• Please add the domains below and allow the following:
*.llnw.net
*.llnw.com
*.llnwd.net
*.thelearningodyssey.com
*.compasslearningodyssey.com
*.childu.com
You can also choose Content and under Block pop-up windows select "Exceptions" and add the same domains. While still in Content under Load images automatically select "Exceptions" and add the domains there.
Remember to also add the same domains to your security software and let us know whether you were able to access the lessons or are still having issues.

having the same problem today
Hey, the same thing is happening to me with the exact same lesson. It is driving me nuts because i know this is not a problem with my browser or computer settings and thus none of the options they provided you are the problem, at least not for me. My son is trying to complete his work and the arrow is not moving on. Very frustrating. Let me know if you get this resolved. thanks.

Hi mamamia and mrsmom,
That particular activity type has caused problems for a few of our members. You need to be sure that your Flash is up to date.
Flash is a base technology that we use for audio and visual effects. Sometimes computers need to update or reinstall their flash player. If you are unable to hear the lessons and/or are not able to see all graphics, most likely your flash player needs to be updated.
Click here for more information and/or to update your flash:
If you continue to have problems, please contact [email protected].
The site is usually only down for a few hours...
