    Default 6th grade science

I have a son that will be starting 6th grade. I am a little confused about which science he is supposed to take. Does he do all of them or do we pick which one we want him to do.

Hi, AshleyEdgington! Each middle school science course is designed to last one traditional school year. It is common to give middle school students choices. You might want them to take science, but you allow them to decide which science course they are interested in. Of course, your student may do more than one science course in a year if they want to, but that would be a LOT of science!

The Nature of Science course is only designed to last one term. It can be used to supplement any science course. It covers lab safety, science tools, how to measure and record data, and other general science information.

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!
